On December 10th 2009, from 7:30-10 pm, we will be exhibiting custom DIY Munnys designed by 40+ students. All Munnys will be available for sale through silent auction. There will be a live DJ, bar, and snacks to munch on while you peruse. Be sure to come by and see some amazing DIYs and maybe take one home with you! Come support your local artists in Edmonton!
NAITs Print Sale
events - by 1hundoOn November 26th at 9am-6pm & 27th at 9am-5pm, the NAIT Photographic Technology program will be holding their annual print sale at the main campus south lobby (building 0). The charity they will be donating to from the sales is The Rainbow Society of Alberta. Students from the current 1st & 2nd year will be submitting and displaying photographs they taken for sale. Come down and check out the inspiring photographers photographs and maybe purchase one or two for yourself.

Last night I went to The Common to eat some grub & listen to the sounds of DJ Sonny Grimezz and DJ $hortee for Eazy Duz It Thursdays. Classic hip-hop beats, funk, reggae, & anything in between.
There was tons to choose from: goat cheese to flatbread to popcorn with truffle butter to edamame to meatloaf sliders to tandoori skewers. I decided on grilled cheese sandwiches that had a side of tomato soup to dunk in and pulled pork tacos… I would kill for these seriously. These are a must if you are trying the menu for the first time.
I always need my Green Beer too…
If you guys have not tasted the menu yet I would go tonight and enjoy some Golden Era Hip-Hop BUT there is a limited space so COME EARLY!

It is just off Whyte Ave and right beside Dream Team House… we ALL know where this is. I ordered my norm of #12 (Ling Wok Deluxe Rice Noodle Soup) & Vietnamese Coffee . The entire meal cost me most $12 for both items with tip. If your looking for a Pho place to be open which is harder to find now a days, tasty, & cheap do come to this joint!

Today happens to be FREE ADMISSION day in the city of Edmonton. why? Just for being an Edmontonian! No charge for a variety of activities like Golfing, Recreation Centres, Pools, Fort Edmonton Park, the Valley Zoo, and the Muttart Conservatory to name a few.
